Purple Shampoo

Purple shampoo is the fastest fix for brassy, yellow tones in blonde, grey and silver hair. The violet pigment neutralises warmth so your colour stays cool and bright between salon visits. How to use a purple shampoo

Use it in place of your normal shampoo once or twice a week, not every wash. Lather, leave it on for 2 to 5 minutes depending on how much warmth you want to knock back, then rinse. Leave it longer for a stronger cool-down. Follow with a purple or hydrating conditioner, since toning shampoos can be drying on fine hair.
