Step 1: Clarify with K18 Peptide Prep Detox Shampoo

The K18 Peptide Prep Detox Shampoo is a colour-safe clarifying shampoo formulated with the K18PEPTIDE. It removes product build-up, hard water minerals and pollution that would otherwise block the K18 Leave-In Mask from penetrating properly. Use it once a week, always before a K18 Mask treatment, and as a periodic reset if your hair feels weighed down or your colour looks dull.

Lather and massage for 60 seconds, then rinse thoroughly. Do not use conditioner after the Detox Shampoo if you are doing the full K18 treatment in the same wash.

Step 2: Apply K18 Leave-In Mask on damp hair

The K18 Leave-In Mask is the heart of the K18 system. Towel-dry your hair until it is damp, not wet. Apply 1 to 2 pumps through mid-lengths and ends, scaling up to 4 pumps for very long or coarse hair. Wait 4 minutes. Do not rinse.

After the Mask has had its 4 minutes, layer a few drops of K18 Repair Oil through mid-lengths and ends. Step 4: Between-wash refresh with K18 AirWash

The K18 wash routine on non-treatment days

Blonde and toned hair

For freshly bleached or balayaged hair, use it for 4 to 5 washes in a row immediately after the colour appointment, then drop back to weekly.

For the Damage Shield Shampoo and Conditioner, use as your everyday wash. For the Detox Shampoo, once a week is the right cadence for most people, more often if you live in a hard water area or use heavy styling products.
