Colour Prepare is built around a freshly activated, nature-identical vitamin C complex (ascorbic acid). Because vitamin C degrades over time, the formula is kept as dry crystals in a hermetically sealed sachet and only activated when mixed with water, so it reaches your hair at maximum potency.
Once activated, the complex gently chelates calcium, magnesium, copper and other minerals deposited by water, lifting them away from the hair shaft.
