Hair Loss and Thinning? Your Davines Energising Routine
Finding more hair on your brush than you used to? You are not imagining it, and you are not alone. Hair loss and thinning are some of the most common concerns we see in the salon, and most of the women asking us about it are in their forties and fifties, when perimenopause, stress and the years after having babies all start to show up in the hair. The good news: thinning hair responds well when you treat the scalp properly, and we have a routine we trust.
First, why is it happening?
Hair fall has a lot of triggers. Hormonal change through perimenopause and menopause is a big one. So is stress, a season of poor sleep, the months after a baby, illness, and simply time. Some shedding is seasonal and temporary. Some is a slower thinning along the hairline and through the crown. Knowing which one you are dealing with changes what you reach for, and that is exactly the kind of thing we are happy to look at with you in person.
The Davines Energising range
For thinning hair and hair fall, we turn to the Davines NaturalTech Energising range. It is built to work on the scalp, where hair growth actually starts, rather than just coating the hair you already have.
Start in the shower with the Davines Energising Shampoo. It cleanses gently while stimulating the scalp, and it is the everyday base of the whole routine. From there, the leave-in treatments do the heavier lifting. The Davines Energizing Superactive is a concentrated leave-in you work into a clean, towel-dried scalp to target thinning at the root. The Davines Energizing Gel helps slow the hair loss process by supporting the scalp, and the Davines Energizing Thickening Tonic is a daily spray that gives finer hair the appearance of more body while it works.
If your shedding has come on suddenly or seasonally, the Davines Energizing Seasonal Superactive is made for exactly that, a targeted course for temporary hair fall rather than long-term thinning.
How to use it
Keep it simple, because a routine only works if you actually stick to it. Wash with the Energising Shampoo, then apply your chosen Superactive or Gel to the scalp, not the lengths, and leave it in. Use the Thickening Tonic on the days in between. Consistency matters more than quantity here. This is a few minutes added to what you already do, not a twelve-step overhaul.
What to expect
Be patient and kind to your expectations. Scalp and hair work on their own timeline, so think in terms of weeks and months, not days. You may notice less hair in the brush before you see new growth, and that is a good early sign. If you have been let down by products before, that is fair, and it is why we would rather set you up with the right routine than sell you a quick fix that fades.
