Say Hello to Menstrual Cups

Ok before you stop reading, hear me out on this one. I can admit, the thought of reusing menstrual products wasn't convincing me. BUT, after reading through other peoples experiences, and having it recommended by a few friends of mine I knew I had to try it out. 

Let me pose you a question: Have you ever read those tiny information sheets that come tucked into your tampon box? Yes, those little unreadable pieces of paper you immediately chuck into the bin after opening? Well I don't want to scare you, but those things can be super toxic! (Not the info paper...what it tells you about the tampons ha!).

The sprays used on the cotton when its grown and the added fragrances, all don't belong 'down there' and our bodies don't know how to process them! 

Hello Cup only uses TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) to make their cups. I mean, I have no idea what that means either. But, because it is made of this special material it means they're free of all those nasties. No rubber, no latex, PBAs, or heavy metals, and even better, its super soft and comfortable to wear!

Still haven't convinced you? Well lets talk about WASTE. The average woman uses around 10,000 tampons in her lifetime! Sanitary products can take up to 500 years to be broken down. Thats a lot of waste. These cups are reusable, and can last up to 5 years if cared for properly. They are also 100% recyclable, and use a lot less energy to make. Not only are they helping save our planet, but your wallet in the process!
