Reuzel Pomades have just arrived in salon - and we are all just a little bit excited!

Have you heard of Reuzel before? Neither had we, but we have fallen for the old fashion barber shop feel of these pomades.
Created by Barbers in Rotterdam in Holland, these guys dug deep in the history of pomades to formulate what they believe are the worlds finest: Reuzel. Known for their signature haircuts, Schorem Barbers is trying to preserve a vanishing craft from a lost era of time. Their haircuts are stunning and we love the 'lost in translation' that happens with their name Schorem. It means "scumbags", "bad boys" in dutch, but it is also the past tense form of 'I shave him'. How awesome is that.
Reuzel is the dutch word for lard (anyone feeling like this is a lesson in Dutch??) and is a wink to a past when pomades were made from animal fats and fragranced with apples. The word pomade actually comes from the French word pomme, meaning apple.

But enough of that, lets introduce you the 2 pomades.

The first (and is sneaking ahead as our favourite) is Reuzel Red - High Sheen Pomade.
In a red can and is packed with high-shine, this water-soluble pomade holds like a wax yet rinses out as easily as a gel. Never hardening or flaking this will work on any hair thickness or texture. Reuzel Red is perfectly blended with a subtle vanilla coke fragrance.

Next is Reuzel Green - grease medium hold.
This pomade found in the green can is a wax and oil based pomade, creating a smooth, medium shine with flawless hold. Perfect pomade for normal to thick hair textures: it provides a medium hold that completely transforms the hair, making it easy to mould into any shape. Following the traditional pomme fragrance with an added twist of peppermint.

You can buy in 2 sizes. 113g and 35g.
The packaging is stunning. I'm tempted to buy one just for the shelf! Other pomades don't compare once you view the packaging and give it a try.

Come on over and buy yourself (or the man in your life) the best thing to hit mens styling in years!
