Once you're in the chair, the process will typically start with washing your hair, followed by blow-drying until about 80% dry. Then the Kerasilk treatment will be applied. Once the treatment has processed for 15 minutes. Your hair may be rinsed at the basin before being blow-dried, or it may just be blow-dried directly. (Depending on the service treatment you have chosen.)

Next up, your hair will be flat ironed to seal in the treatment, Once that's done, you'll be taken back to the basin for another shampoo and quick towel dry. To finish things off, your stylist will apply a finishing serum to your hair, which will then be blow-dried in. And that's it - your Kerasilk treatment is complete! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the pampering.

 

Can you tell me about the amazing Kerasilk aftercare tips and tricks that will keep my hair looking fabulous?

After getting a Kerasilk treatment, there are a few things to keep in mind for proper aftercare. While there is no downtime required, it's recommended to use Kerasilk Control shampoo and conditioner to help prolong the effects of the treatment.

If you plan on colouring your hair, it's best to get the Kerasilk treatment before any colour work and wait at least 2-3 weeks after the treatment to get your hair coloured. This will help prevent any interference with the Kerasilk treatment.

 

 How many incredible service options do I have to choose from?

Only two to pick from, which makes the decision-making process a whole lot easier. Let me tell you about them.

First up, we have the Refinement service. This one's perfect if you've got wavy or curly hair and are looking to control frizz. It'll help reduce the volume of your hair just a little bit, but it's great at keeping body in your locks.

Alternatively, you might want to consider the Control service. This is the one to go for if you're looking for intense frizz control, as well as volume and curl reduction. So, if you're after more manageability, this could be the perfect choice for you. 

 

Is Kerasilk treatment safe and does it contain Formaldehyde?

You'll be happy to know that Kerasilk is 100% Formaldehyde-free and safe to use. However, if you're pregnant, we recommend consulting with your doctor first or waiting until after giving birth, just to be on the safe side. While there hasn't been any major concerns with using Kerasilk during pregnancy, there hasn't been sufficient clinical research done on the subject.

 

How long after a Kerasilk treatment can I wash my hair?

Well, the great thing about Kerasilk is that there's no downtime needed after the treatment. You're free to wash your hair and tie it up right away if you want to. However, most clients tend to wait about 2 to 3 days before washing their hair after a Kerasilk service, just to give the treatment a chance to fully set in.
